Taking some time to put it together, I am actually thinking of taking another trip. Perhaps document the deference 20 years can make… or maybe going again would ruin the experience I had as a young man.

I had a great opportunity recently to shoot the cover of an amazing musician based in the Raleigh, NC are: HETHN.

HETHN’s work focuses on physical interaction, trauma, organic noise, and granular synthesis to create an evolution of sound. So being able to shoot a somewhat organic, yet torturous image for the cover without being over the top was paramount.

During my time in Garner, I made friends with a distinguished gentleman. Tall, soft spoken, but sure footed in his skills. Alpha Barber Shop in historic downtown Garner is a special place with that familiar small town piece of Americana atmosphere. 

Tucked among several unavailing businesses you will find his quaint shop. This talented and friendly barber will greet you when you walk in as though you have been family for many years. Roddrick can become more than a barber,  he can become a friend and a confidant.

Got to shoot a good friend for an editorial the other day. Phil is a master mechanic based out of the Raleigh area, and a long time friend since college. 

He was one of the first portraits I shot in college, and to see the change not only in style, but ourselves over the past 8+ years is crazy.
